- Karen Gilian clears up the red wig rumors. States that the folks at Lucasfilm helped her put the wig together. The wig currently resides at her home. (ContactMusic.com)

- Filming has been going strong the last two weeks including a stop at the Skellig Michael Islands in Ireland. There was a Mark Hamill siting on the Skellig Islands. Also rumors that Daisy Ridley was in attendance on set. (StarWars7News.com)
- Cast will be heading out on a two-week reprieve at the first of August. This pause in filming was a result of the Harrison Ford accident.
- Star Wars The Old Republic MMO raked in $165 million in 2013. But still a distant second place to World of Warcraft. Some rumors being spread regarding a possible sequel with tie-ins to the new Canon. Â (StarWars7News.com)
- Rumors have begun surfacing regarding Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 3. Initially thought to be just rumor, reports from insiders have surfaced giving credence. No official word from Disney. Â (GameSpot.com)

Rumors:
- Did Benedict Cumberbatch let the cat out of the bag? Seems to indicate in an interview that Simon Peg will be part of the cast of Star Wars Episode VII? Rumors are now surfacing that Peg will voice a character, not actually be physically in the film. Â (MTV.com)
- Zack Snyder tweeted out a Photoshop picture of Henry Cavill a couple weeks ago that show him cloaked, holding a light saber and using the hashtag #SuperJedi. This has sparked rumors that Henry Cavill will be either an actor in the film or performing a cameo. Â (Twitter.com)
- Rumors surfacing this week that Gwendoline Christie’s character was originally scripted as a male and that Benedict Cumberbatch was considered for this role. Some are saying that JJ Abrams and Disney succumb to supposedly online outrage that there weren’t enough female characters in the cast. (FashionStyle.com)
- Gwendoline Christie’s character is said to be a storm trooper who is hunting John Boyega’s character who is a deserting soldier.
- POTENTIAL PLOT SPOILERS: Devin Faraci at Badass Digest has broken some news that has gained traction the last couple of weeks regarding character descriptions and plot summaries including the opening sequences. Some of it is interesting. Most of it is bizarre. (BadAssDigest.com)
- After the opening scroll, the camera pans to a severed hand clutching a light saber and floating through space. The severed appendage falls from space onto a desert planet where it is promptly discovered by Daisy Ridley and John Boyega’s characters.
- The pair identify the light saber as a Jedi artifact and embark to return it to the Jedi.
- The pair meet up with Hans Solo and Chewbacca, who are not flying the millennium falcon. At their meeting, Hans Solo states that the light saber is his old friend Luke Skywalker’s and that he hasn’t seen Luke in over 30 years. The foursome embark on a quest to find Luke Skywalker.
- Nefarious forces are constructing a new super weapon on an ice planet. This weapon does not destroy planets. Rather, it destroys entire solar systems.
